I’ve recently been looking to trade in my old car and was pondering what direction I should go. There seemed to be 3 clear options 1) Environmentally tree hugger – Toyota Prius 2) Mid life crisis - Audi TT or 3) Bank friendly - Holden Astra. Then a friend sent me this video – if only!
[Imagine] Traffic would be a breeze, you simply go off-road or over the top. If anyone gave you “the bird” a simply warning shot from the machine gun would soon solve that.
My only question is: Would you buy a car from Herb?
I’ve just sorted out some data sources and field lists in some pivot tables–Hooray! Ok, maybe it’s not something many people get excited about but I’m a super nerd and I love feeling like I know things. And also because who doesn’t love a good Top 10 list?
These are the top 10 played retail games for last week.

GLOBAL Top 10 Xbox 360 games (UU):
Call of Duty: World at War
Halo 3
Call of Duty 4
Gears of War 2
Grand Theft Auto 4
FIFA 09
UFC 2009 Undisputed
Left 4 Dead
[PROTOTYPE]
Fallout 3
Interesting to note [PROTOTYPE] much more popular with Aussies. Also that Halo Wars and Guitar Hero World Tour are closer to our local hearts, but UFC 2009 Undisputed and Left 4 Dead are… less so. But it all balances out and there Fallout 3 is at #10 the world over! Who’s looking forward to the Point Lookout add-on?
When I’m asked what my favourite game is, my answer is Psychonauts, a critically acclaimed game for the original Xbox from the twisted mind of Tim Schafer, who is currently working on Brutal Legend (as a Tim Schafer sidenote, it’s important to note Monkey Island coming to the Xbox LIVE Arcade next month, and hopefully more Monkey Island if this one does well). The premise of the game is that you’re a young boy named Raz who sneaks into a summer camp for psychics and explores the minds of crazy people–one themed after a blacklight running of the bulls, another a game board, another an underwater metropolis for fish. Oh, and he saves the day, obviously.
I completed the game rather quickly. I couldn’t concentrate on anything else until I did. Since then the experience has really stayed with me, so when I saw this amazing artwork I had to have it. I printed out an 8×10 and hung it up in my living room. Wish I could print it out even bigger!

If you haven’t played this game yet, punch yourself and then go grab it off Xbox Originals. If you have any remaining doubts, you can check out the Zero Punctuation review on the game. Yahtzee likes it and he doesn’t like anything!
Tomorrow I have a couple minutes to interview Anthony Mundine for Fight Night Round 4. I’m pretty stoked about it and want it to be great. It’s not every day I get to shove a microphone in a coverboy’s face and demand he answer my questions!
Then I thought, “I bet I’m not the only one who has questions.” So I’m putting it out to you guys. What questions do you have for Anthony Mundine RE: Fight Night Round 4? Post yours in the comments and I’ll try to ask him! But, please, let’s focus on questions that won’t get me punched. I don’t take punches well.
We all like to believe it isn’t true but let’s face it … size does matter. At least when it comes to TV screens and the guys at the Cowboys stadium have this covered.
For those of you who may not be familiar with them, every day we run an event on Xbox LIVE. We suggest a game in a different theme every day of the week, and set a time. Not sure what to play? Hoping to connect with other Aussie/Kiwi gamers? All you need to do is hop into the game at the date and time, and host or join a game over Xbox LIVE. Other local gamers will be doing the same thing. More local gamers means less lag, better gaming, and new friends. And who doesn’t want that?
